Troop 99 is the oldest, continuously chartered troop west of the Mississippi. Chartered in 1916, the troop was originally known as Troop 1 until the merger of the Orange County and North Orange County councils. Our charter organization is the Sunrise Rotary Club. Troop 99’s Scout House was originally located on Imperial Hwy. next to the Packing House. It has since been moved to its present location on Imperial Hwy. and Casa Loma in Hurless Barton Park.

The goal is to nurture our youth into becoming productive citizens through a dynamic and supportive Scouting experience that promotes both intellectual and physical development. We are committed to fostering leadership skills by offering educational opportunities, mentorship, and leadership roles within the troop

Troop 99G operates alongside the boys' troop but functions as its own distinct unit. Our mission is to cultivate productive citizens by offering an engaging, supportive Scouting program tailored for young women. We focus on personal growth, leadership development, and community service, encouraging our scouts to become leaders through diverse intellectual and physical activities. Offering year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective character, citizenship, and fitness training. We welcome all Scouting-age youth (11-18) whether or not they have been part of scouting. In addition to camping, Scouts enjoy activities such as hiking, backpacking, canoeing, community service and more while accommodating the needs of today's busy families. Each summer we attend a week-long summer camp. Past summer camps have included Emerald Bay on Catalina Island, Camp Merriweather in Oregon, and Lost Valley.

Scout like a girl!

Our meetings take place on Sunday afternoons at the Red Scout House adjacent to the Yorba Linda Community Center and Hurless Barton Park at 4579 Casa Loma Avenue in Yorba Linda.
